The session covered: Lung cancer - how dangerous is it? Small-molecule drugs in targeted therapy; Diagnostic testing for lung cancer according to Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines; FFPE and cfDNA sample workflows. The session also paid special attention to factors affecting test results, such as biopsy site, biopsy size (insufficient tissue is one of the main causes in most cases), sample fixation technique, tumor cell percentage, DNA/RNA extraction technique, and molecular testing technique.
