The BIOGAS 3000 is designed for continuous monitoring of gases generated from biogas digesters, farm emissions, wastewater treatment systems, food waste, landfills and agricultural activities.
The system enables online monitoring of biogas and landfill gas, with the capacity to integrate up to 5 sensors. It includes 3 standard sensors (CH4, CO2, O2) and allows 2 additional optional gas sensors (such as H2S) to suit specific needs.
The instrument supports up to 4 different gas sampling points within the same system. It meets stringent international explosion-proof safety certifications such as ATEX and IECEx.
Standard gases measured: CH4 (Methane), CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), O2 (Oxygen). CH4 and CO2 use infrared technology; O2 uses electrochemical technology.
Optional gases (up to 2 additional gases): H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide), H2 (Hydrogen), CO (Carbon Monoxide). H2S measuring range up to 10,000 ppm (a lower range of 0-50 ppm can be configured as needed).
Supports parallel pre- and post-desulfurization measurement. Up to 5 gases (3 standard gases + 2 optional gases).
Supports user calibration to maintain accuracy under extreme temperature conditions. Calibration certified to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard (UKAS). Highly durable design with stable operation in hazardous gas environments.
Explosion-proof certifications: ATEX and IECEx (Zone 2) - suitable for environments with a high risk of fire and explosion. IP65-rated enclosure (dust and water resistant). Integrated multi-level alarm system for early warning of risks.
Continuous online monitoring, easily integrated into SCADA control systems. Modular design supporting hot-swap replacement for easy operation and maintenance.
The BIOGAS 3000 main unit has built-in CH4, CO2 and O2 sensors. UKAS calibration certificate and user manual (soft copy). Optional additional H2S, CO and H2 sensors as required.
Applications: Continuous monitoring of inlet gas quality for internal combustion engines and biogas generators. Controlling CH4 and H2S concentrations helps protect engines, reduce maintenance costs and optimize power generation efficiency. Monitoring of gas pockets generated during sludge and wastewater treatment. Measurement and recovery of methane (CH4) from landfills. Simultaneous monitoring of multiple biogas digesters or different areas within a farm. Parallel measurement before and after H2S removal enables accurate assessment of scrubber tower efficiency.
